Hi there!
I'm a Portland, OR based graphic designer with a passion for visual communication and collaborating with other creatives.
Audigy: Help You Hear Campaign
Audigy creates several quarterly campaigns that can be used by the membership for their marketing needs, including social & print media. The campaigns have a central design philosophy behind them, and are built out in a variety of formats for the clients to pick and use as they wish.
This particular campaign is one I had sole design control over. I worked with a copywriter and art director to come up with an ethos behind the design, then design the suite of collateral to invoke warm nostalgia and clearly communicate our clients' offerings.
Audigy: Assorted Client Work
A large part of graphic design at Audigy is crafting advertising and business collateral requested by Audigy's clients. While some of that collateral is based off of templates created by the team, all the pieces shown below are fully custom according to the parameters and needs of the client.
I created print ads, digital ads, billboards, mail pieces, business cards, logos, emails, medical forms, and a variety of other pieces needed to keep a doctors office running.
Audigy: Newsletters
Audigy creates a newsletter three times a year for the clients to send to their patients, informing them of current audiology news and practice updates. The newsletter is templatized, as dozens of members utilize the service. Each templated piece, and the overall design direction behind each newsletter, must be created by the design team.
For this issue, I created the Toolkits that the rest of the design team used to inform graphic style, typefaces, and photos. My newsletter design is meant to be playful and easy to digest, inviting the viewer to read further
Audigy: Model Mailer Redesign
The Model Mailer program helps Audigy clients reach potential patients with mail collateral that appeals to emotions and eases anxieties surrounding hearing loss and hearing aids.
The graphic design team creates templates that clients can choose from, but they periodically need updating. I refreshed the look of three of our major templates, each of them designed to strike an emotional chord in the viewer.
DOWL Engineering: Assorted Work
As a Graphic Designer for DOWL, I have worked on a variety of internal and external projects, both independently and with my coworkers on the marketing team. I developed illustrations, infographics, document layouts, and postcards. I designed PowerPoint presentations for client proposals, interviews, and for staff training purposes. I create a high volume of designs for an assortment of miscellaneous projects, maps, and social media posts. I assist in proposal development, including layout, graphic development, and editorial design.
Zipcode Creative: Sitemap Design
As a Freelance Graphic Designer for Zipcode Creative I worked closely with with the lead Designer to create architectural sitemaps for a variety of clients. I created visually appealing sitemaps in a variety of brand identities based on architectural drawings. In addition to the technical difficulty and sensitivity of these maps, they were very fluid in design, requiring continuous and regular revision. Industries and complexes included apartments, condos, and senior living communities.
Mustang News: Print and Layout Design
As a print and layout designer the Mustang News branch of Mustang Media Group, myself and four other designers were responsible for designing weekly spreads and page layouts for a campus–wide newspaper. This involved working with reporters, editors, and photographers to find all of the content that would be published on the spreads each week, selecting photographs for the pages, and creating illustrations or diagrams that would be used for the spreads. I coordinated with other designers to create a cohesive design story every week. After the Covid-19 shutdown began, I created weekly illustrations for email newsletters, and also worked with a team to create a collectable 4-year-in-review special edition of the newspaper.
